Pradeep Kumar is a Doctoral Scholar at the Govind Ballabh Pant Social Science Institute, Prayagraj, working under the supervision of Prof. Badri Narayan Tiwari. His research topic is “Local History of Subaltern Leadership: A Study of Allahabad (1920–1984)”, which explores Subaltern voices, Leadership patterns, and Socio-Political transformations in twentieth-century North India. He earned his M.Phil in Development Studies from GBPSSI and M.A. in Modern History from the University of Allahabad. He has actively engaged in academic training through participation in research methodology programs, writing workshops, and national/international seminars addressing themes such as gender dynamics, Indian modernity, social movements, climate change, and cultural heritage. His areas of research interest include Caste, Dalit & Subaltern History, Collective Memory, Dalit Politics & Identity Formation, etc. He has also earned research experience as a research assistant in a major project, “Changing Forms of Akharas Mahakumbh 2025, Prayagraj”.

Sakshi Mishra 

Sakshi Mishra is a Research Scholar in Political Science, working under the supervision of Dr. Samanta Sahu. Her research interests include urban governance, urban sustainability, climate change and resilience, and public policy. She has qualified the UGC-NET in Political Science. A graduate and postgraduate in Political Science from the University of Allahabad, she completed her schooling at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya. Her ongoing research, “Climate Change and Urban Governance in India: A Case Study of Indore, Madhya Pradesh”, examines governance responses to climate challenges. Srishti Yadav is a research scholar in the field of demographic economics, currently working on the topic “Gender Dividend in India: A Regional Appraisal” under the supervision of Dr. Md. Juel Rana. She holds a Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts in Geography from the University of Allahabad, Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, where she was awarded three gold medals for securing the first position in her undergraduate program. She has also qualified the UGC-NET with Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) in Geography. Her research interests lie in Demographic and Gender Dividends, Population Aging, Intergenerational Mobility, and Gender Disparities. Sanskriti Maurya is a research scholar in the field of health geography, currently working on the topic “Spatial Dynamics of Healthcare Services in India – A District Level Assessment” under the supervision of Dr. Ambuj Sharma. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Geography from University of Allahabad and Master of Science in Geography with Cartography specialisation from Banaras Hindu University. Her research interest lie in Health Inequalities and Spatial Justice, Health Policy and Resource Allocation, Digital Health and Telemedicine, Environmental Health, Rural – Urban health divide. Ms. Alisha Bano is pursuing her Ph.D. on “Caste, Identity, and Mobilization among Pasmanda Muslims in Uttar Pradesh” under the supervision of Dr. Chandraiah Gopani. She has qualified the UGC-NET in Political Science and is a recipient of the National Fellowship for OBC (NFOBC). शिवम पांडेय गोविंद बल्लभ पंत सामाजिक विज्ञान संस्थान में प्रो. बद्री नारायण के निर्देशन में आधुनिक इतिहास विषय से “कृषि तकनीकी में बदलाव और उसके सामाजिक प्रभाव : 19वीं सदी में अवध” पर अपना शोध कार्य कर रहे हैं एवं साथ ही विकासशील समाज अध्ययन पीठ(CSDS) में डॉ. प्रभात कुमार के निर्देशन में डाक्टोरल फेलो हैं। भारतीय इतिहास अनुसंधान परिषद से जूनियर रिसर्च फेलो रहे हैं इसके अलावा भारतीय सामाजिक विज्ञान अनुसंधान परिषद के इंस्टीट्यूशनल फेलो हैं। उन्होंने स्नातक और परास्नातक इलाहाबाद विश्वविद्यालय से आधुनिक इतिहास विषय में किया है। उनके अध्ययन का क्षेत्र औपनिवेशिक समय में आए कृषि में बदलाव और समाज पर प्रभाव है इसके साथ वह भारत की प्राचीन कृषि परंपरा से लेकर वर्तमान तक आधुनिक कृषि व्यवस्था पर अपने शोध पत्रों के माध्यम से शोध कार्य को आगे बढ़ा रहे हैं। वर्तमान उनके दो शोध, शोध पत्रिकाओं में छप चुके हैं 10 से अधिक राष्ट्रीय और अंतरराष्ट्रीय स्तर के सेमिनारों में अपने शोध पत्रों को पढ़ा है। इसक अलावा वे भारतीय ज्ञान परंपरा, उत्तर भारत की सामाजिकी, भारत की संत परंपरा,  लोकगीतों, कहावतों, कहानियों, उपन्यासों आदि पर शोधरत रहते हैं। शोधकर्ता सामाजिक, सांस्कृतिक एवं मौखिक इतिहास में विशेष रुचि रखते हैं।

Nilesh Pant is a research scholar pursuing a DPhil under the supervision of Dr. Kamei Samson. His doctoral thesis focuses on the Politics of Public Health: A Case Study of the Bhotia Tribes of Uttarakhand.  His study inquires how state institution shapes the accessibility, affordability, and availability of public health services among the bhotia community. Saurabh Singh

Saurabh Singh is a Doctoral Student in the discipline of History under the supervision of Prof. Badri Narayan. His working title is “Uttar Pradesh ki Lok Kala Nautanki ka Samajik evam Etihasik Adhyayan.” His research focuses on the socio-historical dimensions of Nautanki, a prominent folk theatre tradition of North India, exploring its role in shaping cultural identity, social consciousness, and regional history.
His areas of specialization include Ancient Indian History and Culture, Folk Studies and Oral History, and Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS). Alongside his academic pursuits, he has been actively involved in research and content writing for several short films and documentaries based on Indian culture and heritage. As the founder of “ Bharat Vaichariki ” a forum of scholars and creative people, he contributes positively to the promotion of Indian Knowledge Systems and indigenous intellectual traditions.
He has participated in various academic seminars and workshops and continues to engage in interdisciplinary research on India’s folk and cultural traditions.
